Our Mission

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a vibrant community of anglers, built by anglers, where people can come together to share their life experiences and lessons related to the water. We believe that fishing is more than just catching fish; it’s about connecting with nature, developing positive attitudes, and learning valuable life lessons.

Our community is designed to showcase the best online teachers and guides who understand the importance of uplifting each other as anglers. We believe that by learning from one another, we can become better anglers and better people.

Participation is at the heart of our community. We encourage submissions from our members and provide a platform for people to share their own stories. By doing so, we hope to inspire others and create a supportive environment that fosters growth and learning.

In everything we do, we strive to promote the values of respect, stewardship, and community. We believe that through our shared passion for fishing, we can build meaningful connections and make a positive impact on the world around us.

The Community

At our community, we believe that everyone has a story worth sharing, especially when it comes to our experiences on the water and in life. Whether it’s a life lesson learned while angling, a heartwarming story of triumph over adversity, or simply a funny tale that made you laugh, we want to hear from you. By sharing your own experiences, you can help inspire and uplift others, while also learning from the stories of fellow anglers.

Our community is built around participation, so we encourage all members to submit their own stories and lessons. If you have a story that you believe will resonate with our community, we invite you to share it with us. To submit your story, simply email Jim McGuire at Jim@Teachingthemtofish.com, and he will help guide you through the submission process.

Remember, our community is about more than just catching fish. It’s about developing positive attitudes, building meaningful connections, and learning valuable life lessons. So, don’t be shy – share your experiences with us today, and help us create a community that’s built on learning, sharing, and growing together as anglers and as people.
